Ulf moved from Sweden in March 1998 and started Connect at that time with 11 rooms and a small restaurant

Börje (Gula huset) Carlsson joined the business in May 2001

After a renovation and expansion we have 25 rooms, a restaurant, coffee bar and Internet coffee shops with a total of 4 Computers.

Restaurant
The Connect Restaurant is open from 8 AM until midnight. We have a full menu with Thai and European food at a reasonable price.
If you never tried Thai food before try our Thai Set menu.

Connect Sunday Buffet
Every Sunday at 8-10 PM (20.00-22.00).
10 different Thai dishes and fresh fruit. Only 200 Baht/person.
Make your reservation at the bar counter in the restaurant.

Internet, Fax and Telephone
At Connect we have 4 computers with Internet and Fax/Telephone service. Open from 08:00 AM until very late.

A Valid driving licence and helmet is required. Our staff can also arrange another rental.

Some advice to our guests

Keep the key during your stay and do not forget to return it when you check out.
Check out time is at noon. If you leave before the reception is open, please leave the key in the key box in the staircase and lock the door. Please do not forget to pay your bills.
If you would like to invite a guest to your room, please feel free to do so, but remember that you do it on your own risk. Keep an eye on your valuables.
If there are mosquitoes in your room bothering you, use the electrical anti-mosquito-machine. One tablet is useful for 10 hours. The tablet is blue when it is active and turns into white when it is finished. There is a switch on the machine to turn it off and on.
Please do not smoke while you are in the bed.
Fire extinguisher is located in the stairway.
Put your valuables in the eletronic safety box
When you use the entrance door please do not let anyone unknown in and keep it locked.

Our environmental program:

If you would like to have your towels exchanged, please put them on the floor in the bathroom.
If you would like us to do daily maid service in your room, please keep the room available from noon.
Set the thermostat for air-condition to 25 degrees Celsius. If your room is cooler than 25 you will easily catch a cold because of the big difference in the outdoor- and indoor temperature. You will also find it difficult to adjust to the climate here in Phuket if your room is too cold. This also saves electricity.
Keep windows and door closed while using the air conditioning.
Switch off the air-conditioning and all lights when you leave the room.
Please do not bring your room towels to the beach. There are beach towels available in Connect free of charge.

Illegal
These activities are illegal in Thailand:

Gambling about money. (The most common crime in Phuket)
Drugs (you do not want to spend the rest of your life in a Thai prison)
Sex with under aged (18 years, ask for the ID-card if you are not sure)

These activities are without restrictions prohibited at Connect. We can't help you if you get into trouble for any of these reasons.
